Bally / Stern Power / Driver Board

BPS022 - Combination voltage regulator and driver board used in most early solid state Bally pinball machines.  See game listing below to see which games this supply supports.

This board is a direct plug in replacement for the original OEM  power supply.  

The original power supply that this board replaces is Bally part numbers:  AS2518-22 and AS2518-17

Key Benefits

- New Low Drop Out (LDO) +5V section regulates to lower line voltages than the original design

- LED lights added to show +5V and +180V is functioning properly!

- Higher current carrying and higher voltage breakdown transistors for longer life

- 100% Through-hole components for future serviceability

- 100% Off the shelf commercially available parts (no custom parts)

-  Simplified design for easier troubleshooting (even I can read the schematic)

- Test points added to check all incoming and outgoing voltages

- Fuse added for +180V supply (not present on the original -22 boards)

- All new (not 20+ year old) components and PCB
